Although each integration can represent a unique challenge or client requirement, the following are features and functionalities that can be achieved using a standard real-time integration between your Daffron CIS and your AMI solution:

Changes to meter information, updates to location, and changes to customer accounts in CIS are automatically updated in AMI. Additionally, Customer Service can verify possible outages through direct communications between CIS and AMI, avoiding costly truck-rolls.

Service Orders can alert the AMI system about disconnected meters, reconnected meters,  and Meter Change Service Orders returned can alert AMI of the disconnection of one meter and connection of another.

Automatically retrieve reads for bill calculation and presentment. Consumers in collections can be disconnected through a command to power down the meter. Prepaid Billing allows for auto-disconnects for zero-balance and auto-reconnect when payment is made.
