Daffron provides a Meter Data Management System (MDMS) to handle your meter integration and complex billing scenarios. Unlock the full value and potential of your advanced metering infrastructure and obtain operational and customer-side benefits through Daffron’s well-integrated MDMS.
Register reads, intervals (multiple channels), KW, KVA, KVAR, etc. Daffron creates one master set of reading data in a single repository which generates a standard output.
Verify readings from multiple sources utilizing our unique and multiple validity checks and estimation routines that have proven to work with even our larger customers.
Accurate, consistent, timely, and reduces or eliminates manual updates. End results are error-free bills.
Utilizing external weather resources, we can further enhance the analysis and prediction capabilities of the system.
Although each integration can represent a unique challenge or client requirement, the following are features and functionalities that can be achieved using a standard real-time integration between your Daffron CIS and your AMI solution:
Changes to meter information, updates to location, and changes to customer accounts in CIS are automatically updated in AMI. Additionally, Customer Service can verify possible outages through direct communications between CIS and AMI, avoiding costly truck-rolls.
Service Orders can alert the AMI system about disconnected meters, reconnected meters, and Meter Change Service Orders returned can alert AMI of the disconnection of one meter and connection of another.
Automatically retrieve reads for bill calculation and presentment. Consumers in collections can be disconnected through a command to power down the meter. Prepaid Billing allows for auto-disconnects for zero-balance and auto-reconnect when payment is made.
Our hosted solution, eBusiness, provides real-time information to customers and can be deployed within your existing website or extended to customers via a convenient smartphone app. It is fully integrated with Customer Information System (CIS), providing full support for prepaid billing customers, who can view and add to prepaid balances and even receive low-balance and payment notifications via e-mail and text.

As technology changes, your customers’ demands will change with it. Daffron’s Mobile solution can help you stay ahead of the curve by helping you provide utility customers with access to key customer self-service functionality by using their smartphone or tablet device.
Like all Daffron solutions, Mobile is tightly integrated with our CIS, bringing the benefits of automation and real-time interfaces to your utility billing functions.
The best form of Consumer Communications happens when you are able to present consumers with the information they need automatically, sometimes before they even know it is needed.
Event triggers notify your system to provide consumers with the information they need. We have built in numerous Event Triggers, such as bill reminders, disconnect notices, prepaid notices, and many more.
When the system recognizes an Event Trigger, it sends the information to consumers via email, text, or their preferred communication method. This ensures the best opportunity for consumer satisfaction.
Being able to communicate with consumers about their bill in an accurate and convenient manner is a must for the modern utility. Our ePrint solution equips you with the resources you need for success.
You can redesign the bill template to your preferences and we will store the electronic copy of every bill in PDF format. We can then automatically send the files to a bill printing or mailing vendor of your choice.
The PDF version of the bill is synced across our CIS and Customer Self-Service systems, allowing your internal staff to see the same bill that consumers receive and can view online. This makes communicating about billing issues a breeze.
