iXp Spells Efficiencies & Enhanced Customer Experience for Oak Ridge Utility District


Oak Ridge, TN – Oak Ridge Utility District (ORUD) serves nearly 13,000 customers with natural gas services throughout parts of Anderson and Roane Counties, Tennessee, and has been a Daffron CIS, Financials, and Materials customer since March 2000. Like so many Daffron customers, ORUD has since upgraded to the latest iXp software to leverage a newer technology and all the advantages it offers.

According to Leslie England, Director of Customer Service at ORUD, iXp offers many advantages. “…I personally love iXp. I think it allows us fewer keystrokes and therefore fewer errors. It’s also good for our customers…the convenient tabs allow us faster access to information that is pertinent to their accounts.” As a browser-based application, iXp also means substantially reduced training time for ORUD in comparison to the older command-based applications. And iXp is a multi-service solution, making it highly effective for ORUD in managing their natural gas utility.
